BaByliss Pro Tourmaline Straightening Iron Review

I was looking for a top quality flat iron at an affordable rate. Then my hair stylist Kary suggested me to purchase Babyliss flat iron. Actually I was not that much familiar about tourmaline flat irons, as most of my friends have flat irons with ceramic plates. I just browsed through the internet to get more information on tourmaline straighteners and I was really surprised to learn that tourmaline is better than ceramic straighteners, as it produces more negative ions and far infrared rays than that of ceramic straighteners. Several other advantages pertaining to tourmaline flat irons were also listed in many of the websites. Eventually, I made up my mind to order this flat iron, however still overwhelmed.

A couple of weeks before, I got it. I was excited and at the same time tensed due to my doubts whether it would function properly and is it really worth for the penny I spent. The very same day I opened it and carefully went through the manual attached with it. I also did a little bit leg work in order to collect some tips for effective, shiny straightening results.

On the basis of these, I shampooed and conditioned my normal slight curly hair and then waited for some time in order to allow it to completely dry. Then using some clips, I sectioned my hair after removing all tangles. Then after plugging the flat iron and setting its temperature to medium, I untied a small section of hair and then with much fear and excitement (as I was using it for the first time), I gently ran it from the roots to tips. When two sections were finished, I became more confident and straightened other sections of hair with very little effort.

At the end, I was stunned to see its results, which was really superb and at the same time frizz free and silky shine. To be sincere, I never expected such a gorgeous result from this flat iron. Now I use it in regular intervals. For safe, best results, I would recommend using some kind of heat protectant gels or creams.

In fact, it is really a high performance flat iron and when you weigh its pros, the price is also good and I owned it for $110 with one year limited warranty. All of its features are outstanding like adjustable temperature controls and advanced ceramic heaters. Also, worth mentioning is its unique design that is not only easy to use but also strain-free. Overall, it is a good flat iron with superb features!!!!
